soldiers used as guinea pigs
another Edgewood survivor heard from I was awoken at 3:00 pm by the phone ringing, it was a man named Eric Muth, it turns out he was also one of the tests participants at Edgewood, he was there a lot earlier than I was. He was there in 1958, I was 3 then, we talked about the fact he was there twice for 30 days each time. He has been approved for 50% service connection for PTSD resulting from the tests. He also has heart problems that they will not connect him for. So out of 3 vets that were at Edgewood I know of, Me, Rick and now Eric, we all have heart problems, is this a significant fact or are we just prone to heart problems with ot without our Edgewood Experience. But in my experience if you get 3 49 to 65 year old men together I doubt if they all have heart problems. Is there a link between Edgewood and heart problems, you have to remember we were all prescreened before selection to Edgewood for use in the tests, mentally and physically, we were the healthiest young men America had. I enjoyed the conversation and we both related experiences and research, he taught me and I taught him, a shared effort. I would like to get a web boardv going where we could possibly get in contact with more survivor's.
